Your mobile phone number and SMS opt-in consent data will never be sold, rented, traded, or shared with any third party for marketing or promotional purposes.

This is an absolute commitment. Your phone number is used exclusively to communicate with you about your bail bond case and related services.

SMS message records may be retained in our Chatwoot platform for case management, quality assurance, and legal compliance purposes. Our SMS delivery provider, Twilio, processes message data in accordance with their privacy policy at twilio.com/legal/privacy.

You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP. Message and data rates may apply.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers – third-party vendors who assist us in operating our business (such as Twilio for SMS delivery and Chatwoot for customer support), who are contractually required to protect your information and use it only for the services they provide to us
  • Legal and regulatory requirements – courts, law enforcement agencies, or regulatory bodies when required by law, court order, or our bail bond obligations
  • Insurance underwriters – our surety insurance partners as required to underwrite and manage bond agreements
  • Co-signers – individuals who have co-signed a bail bond agreement may receive relevant case communications
  • Business transfers – in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the successor entity, subject to the same privacy protections

In all cases, we share only the minimum information necessary and do not permit third parties to use your information for their own marketing purposes.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including:

  • For the duration of your active bond agreement and any related legal proceedings
  • As required by state insurance regulations and our underwriter’s record-keeping requirements
  • For a minimum of 5 years after bond exoneration or forfeiture, or as otherwise required by applicable law
  • SMS communication records are retained in accordance with our operational and legal requirements

When your information is no longer required, we will dispose of it securely.

Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access – you may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you

  • Opt-out of SMS – you may opt out of text message communications at any time by replying STOP to any message
  • Opt-out of marketing – you may request to be removed from any marketing communications at any time

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information in Section 09. We will respond to your request within 30 days. Note that some requests may be limited by our legal obligations — for example, we may be required to retain certain records by state insurance regulations regardless of a deletion request.

Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Our SMS and customer support platforms (Twilio and Chatwoot) maintain their own security programs in accordance with industry standards.

No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your information has been compromised, please contact us immediately.
